We provide a custom solution for the FGH6K-5000G-90G-NG-V/50P encoder, intended for heavy-duty shaft systems where direct hollow shaft mounting and high-resolution incremental speed feedback must remain reliable under vibration, shaft movement, and industrial interference. This configuration provides 5000 ppr output, single terminal box structure, and integrates option V for electronic pulse multiplication, making it suitable for applications where higher effective signal density is required in speed monitoring or control loops. It is not a general-purpose encoder. It is a shaft-mounted feedback solution where installation quality, signal integrity, and controller processing capability determine whether the high-resolution output remains usable. Stable operation depends on shaft fit, mounting rigidity, terminal integrity, and controlled high-frequency signal routing.

System Limits

  • Shaft eccentricity → unstable high-frequency pulse output
  • EMC interference → high-resolution signal distortion
  • Controller unable to process multiplied pulse rate → data loss or unstable control

The FGH6 platform is built for harsh-duty speed feedback, with hollow shaft mounting preferred where coupling-based installation would reduce lifetime or signal quality. The encoder uses an optical measuring principle and supports 0°, 90°, reference pulse, and inverted signals. Option V electronically increases pulse density by multiple evaluation of the basic and 90° tracks, which improves effective resolution but also raises sensitivity to installation quality, transmission conditions, and controller input limits.

Installation and Wiring Constraints

  • Use direct hollow shaft mounting (Ø50 mm H7)
  • Avoid coupling-based installation and shaft misalignment
  • Keep high-frequency signal wiring separated from power cables
  • Use shielded cables in harsh EMC environments
  • Verify the controller can process the increased effective pulse rate
  • Consider FOC transmission for long-distance or interference-critical routing

Failure boundary:

  • Poor mounting → unstable high-frequency output
  • Poor shielding → distorted signal
  • Controller overload → lost counts or unstable feedback

Replacement and Interface Mapping

  • Suitable for heavy-duty speed feedback with higher effective resolution
  • Applicable where 5000 ppr incremental output and multiplied pulse evaluation are required
  • Not suitable where installation precision, EMC control, or controller frequency capability cannot be ensured
