ENA58PL-S10CA7-1213B17-RH2 is a multiturn absolute encoder with a PROFINET IO interface, using a solid shaft and clamping flange design. For this model, we can develop a customized product based on the original mechanical installation, resolution, and bus communication requirements for equipment maintenance and replacement.

The encoder uses a 58 mm housing, 10 mm solid shaft, and clamping flange. It has a 13-bit single-turn resolution and 12-bit multiturn resolution, with position data provided in Binary code. The supply voltage range is 10–30 VDC.

The electrical connection uses radial M12 connectors, including one 4-pin A-coded M12 power connector and two 4-pin D-coded M12 network connectors. During replacement, the mechanical dimensions should be matched together with the network-port arrangement, connector direction, and existing machine wiring.

One important feature of ENA58PL-S10CA7-1213B17-RH2 is the 1213 resolution configuration, meaning 12-bit multiturn and 13-bit single-turn resolution. For a customized replacement, confirming the PROFINET interface alone is not sufficient; the position data range must also correspond to the existing PLC program.

PROFINET device configuration is another important part of the replacement process. The customized encoder requires the corresponding GSDML file, and we provide the GSDML file for the customized product. The PLC or automation technician should import this file and complete the PROFINET device configuration and parameter setup before commissioning.

The customized encoder also operates from 10–30 VDC, so there is no change in the supply range. For ENA58PL-S10CA7-1213B17-RH2, the main points to confirm are the 10 mm solid shaft, clamping flange, 1213 resolution configuration, and correct GSDML-based PROFINET configuration.
