We developed a custom encoder solution for model G0MMH.0205P32, designed for Profibus-DP fieldbus communication, optical multiturn absolute feedback, and a through hollow shaft structure based on a Ø58 mm compact housing. Wiring and Installation Notes

This encoder version is configured for Profibus-DP integration, with the bus address adjusted through the rotary switches in the bus cover before startup. The platform supports key programmable functions including preset, scaling, rotating direction, and revolution setting, which is useful when adapting the encoder to an existing control architecture. For installation, the through hollow shaft structure requires proper shaft alignment, reliable clamping, and stable anti-rotation support so that housing stress does not affect long-term operation. During commissioning, both bus address logic and parameter settings should be confirmed before the encoder is released into full operation.
