A custom encoder solution was developed for model G0MMH.0203P32, designed for Profibus-DP bus communication, optical multiturn feedback, and a through hollow shaft configuration with Ø12 mm shaft bore and flange-mounted clamping structure without pin. The encoder uses a compact Ø58 mm platform and is suitable for installations where stable bus configuration and direct hollow-shaft mounting are required. Wiring and Installation Notes

The encoder platform communicates through Profibus-DP, and the address is adjusted by rotary switches in the bus cover, so the node address should be set before startup and checked again during replacement. Parameterization functions such as preset, scaling, and rotating direction are supported, which helps align the encoder with the PLC or controller configuration. Mechanically, this version uses a Ø12 mm through hollow shaft without flange pin, so shaft fit, clamp force, and concentricity should be verified carefully during assembly. Compared with pin-guided versions, this layout is more dependent on proper anti-rotation support and secure installation of the housing.
