This custom encoder solution was developed for model G0MMH.8203P32 to support Profibus-DP communication, optical multiturn position feedback, and a through hollow shaft layout with Ø10 mm shaft bore in a flange-mounted structure without pin. The encoder platform uses a compact Ø58 mm housing and is suited to applications that require stable absolute feedback with smaller hollow-shaft dimensions. Wiring and Installation Notes

The platform communicates through Profibus-DP, with the node address set by rotary switches in the bus cover, so address confirmation should be part of commissioning and replacement checks. It also supports programmable functions such as preset, scaling, and rotating direction, which helps match the encoder output to the system setup. This version uses a Ø10 mm through hollow shaft, so shaft fit tolerance and clamp-ring installation should be checked carefully to avoid slip or eccentric mounting. Since the mounting version is without pin, correct torque support and stable housing fixation are important during long-term operation.
