Intro

We developed a custom encoder solution for model G0MMH.5203P32, intended for Profibus-DP communication, optical multiturn position feedback, and a through hollow shaft structure with Ø14 mm shaft bore and 15 mm pin on flange. This model is designed around a compact Ø58 mm housing and supports industrial installations that require stable bus integration and hollow-shaft mounting. Wiring and Installation Notes

This model uses a Profibus-DP interface and the device address is set through the rotary switches in the bus cover, so the address should be confirmed before bus commissioning. The platform supports parameterization functions such as preset, scaling, rotating direction, and number of revolutions, which is helpful during system integration. For mechanical installation, the through hollow shaft structure requires careful shaft alignment and correct clamping-ring fixing to avoid eccentric loading. Since this version includes a 15 mm flange pin, the anti-rotation structure and mounting direction should be checked during replacement. In practical installations, external torque support should be considered so that reaction torque is not transferred directly into the encoder housing.
