OCD-P1A1G-0013-S06C-CRA-2M is a single-turn absolute encoder. For a food company’s equipment maintenance requirement, we developed a customized product based on the original mechanical installation and signal configuration. According to the customer, the original encoder has become difficult to source, so the replacement needed to fit the existing equipment without changing the current installation conditions.
The encoder uses parallel communication with Gray code output. It has a synchro flange, a 6 mm solid shaft, and a 13-bit single-turn resolution. The cable exits from the side and has a length of 2 meters.


For this type of encoder, both the mechanical installation and signal format need to be matched carefully. The synchro flange dimensions and 6 mm shaft must correspond to the original mounting structure, while the electrical interface should retain the parallel Gray code format so that the existing control system can continue to read the absolute position using the same coding logic.
The 13-bit single-turn resolution provides 8192 absolute positions per revolution. The side cable outlet and 2 m cable length are also important for maintaining the original wiring arrangement and avoiding unnecessary changes to the machine.
For OCD-P1A1G-0013-S06C-CRA-2M, the customized solution is mainly based on matching the original mechanical installation, parallel Gray code interface, and single-turn resolution. Once the mounting dimensions and terminal definitions are confirmed, it can be used as a customized replacement for the existing equipment.
