The first failure boundary is PROFIBUS configuration. The node address must be unique on the bus, and the terminating resistor must match the encoder’s real position in the segment. If the address switch, GSD setup, Class 2 scaling, preset value, or direction parameter is different, communication may exist while the angle value is still wrong.
