This encoder uses photoelectric sampling, binary output code, and PROFIBUS DP communication over RS-485. The order code identifies Ø10 mm x 20 mm solid shaft, clamping flange, KR terminal compartment, radial exit, aluminum housing, and 13-bit singleturn resolution. At this resolution, the datasheet specifies linearity of ±1 LSB.

Industrial Integration Considerations

This version is often more about matching controller expectations than pursuing the highest nominal resolution. Where the machine software is already configured around 13-bit singleturn data, preserving the same basic measuring format is usually more practical than changing the encoder feedback structure during retrofit.
