OCD-SL00G-1213-C100-PRL is an older SSI multiturn absolute encoder that has been discontinued. For equipment that is still using this model, we can develop a customized product based on the original mechanical installation, interface, and resolution configuration for maintenance and replacement.
The encoder uses an SSI with Preset interface and a 58 mm clamping flange, with a 10 mm solid shaft. The electrical connection is an M23 male, 12-pin connector, with the connector orientation specified as CCW. The resolution is 12-bit multiturn + 13-bit single-turn.
When replacing the OCD-SL00G-1213-C100-PRL, particular attention should be paid to the code format. This model uses Gray code, so matching only the SSI interface and resolution is not sufficient. The customized encoder must also be configured with the correct code format.
For an SSI absolute encoder, a different code format can cause the control system to interpret the position data incorrectly even when the communication interface and resolution are the same. The final configuration should therefore use Gray code, while the Preset function and wiring definition should also be confirmed.
