The HOG71 DN 1024 TTL is a hollow-shaft incremental encoder with optical sensing, used for speed measurement and position feedback. For this model, we can manufacture a custom replacement matched to the original mounting dimensions, output signals, and terminal assignments for equipment maintenance and spare-part replacement.
This model provides 1024 PPR with A and B channels, a C index pulse, and their complementary signals, using TTL/RS422 output levels. The custom encoder matches the original pulse count, phasing, and index signal, allowing the equipment to continue reading feedback through the existing control system.

The custom replacement uses the same 5 VDC supply as the original, which specifies a voltage tolerance of ±5%. Before replacement, confirm that the equipment’s power supply meets this requirement and correctly identify the power and signal terminals.
The mechanical configuration features a 12H7 blind hollow shaft and an outer diameter of approximately 60 mm, with internal terminals for field wiring. The custom encoder matches the original bore tolerance, shaft insertion depth, and mounting arrangement to fit the equipment shaft and available installation space.
The custom design maintains 1024 PPR, 5 VDC supply, TTL/RS422 outputs, and the 12H7 blind-hollow-shaft mounting configuration. Before replacement, check the original terminal assignments, noting that channel C is the index reference signal, and connect each complementary signal to the corresponding input on the existing control system.
