The XSI 850 750701-02 is a heavy-duty incremental encoder used for speed measurement and position feedback in industrial equipment. Its configuration code is 850009556. For this model, we can manufacture a custom replacement matched to the original mechanical dimensions, output signals, and wiring for equipment maintenance and future spare-part replacement.
This configuration provides 1024 PPR with High Current HTL (HCHTL) outputs, including S00, S90, the Sref index signal, and their complementary signals. The custom encoder matches the original pulse count, phasing, and index signal, together with the required output drive capability, to meet the feedback requirements of the existing control system.

The mechanical design features a B10-type Euro flange and an 11 mm keyed solid shaft. Field wiring enters through a radial cable gland and connects to internal terminals. In addition to the flange and shaft dimensions, the custom design must match the wiring space, cable entry, and terminal assignments so that the existing equipment cable can remain in use.
Particular attention should be paid to the terminal sequence: power supply, index signals, S90 signals, and S00 signals, with a complementary terminal for each signal. Wiring should follow the actual terminal functions rather than an assumed A, B, Z sequence, to avoid incorrect direction detection or index signal connections.
The original model operates at 9–30 VDC, while the custom replacement uses 10–30 VDC. Both ranges cover typical 12 VDC and 24 VDC systems. Before replacement, confirm the actual supply voltage and the controller’s HTL input requirements, then install and wire the encoder according to the matched replacement design.
