For a port machinery customer, we developed a customized product for the HA105S-1024HTL-16. The main requirement was to keep the original mounting dimensions unchanged so the new encoder could be installed without modifying the existing mechanical structure.

The original HA105S-1024HTL-16 has an outer diameter of approximately 105 mm, a 16 mm blind hollow shaft, 1024 PPR resolution, HTL output, and a terminal-box connection. Its specified power supply range is 9–30 VDC.

For the customized version, the mechanical installation is matched to the original encoder, including the blind hollow shaft arrangement and mounting structure. The pulse resolution, output type, and connection method are also retained so that the replacement remains compatible with the existing control and wiring configuration.

The main difference is the power supply range. While the original encoder is rated for 9–30 VDC, our customized version uses 10–30 VDC. This difference should be confirmed against the actual supply voltage used on the machine before installation.

The original signal configuration includes K1, K2, K0, and their complementary signals, so the terminal definitions should also be checked carefully during replacement.

For this application, the customized solution focuses on maintaining the original installation and signal configuration while clearly accounting for the change in supply range.
