We developed a custom solution for model OCD-PPA1G-0008-C06S-CAW. Selected when compact single-turn absolute feedback is required via parallel push-pull output, using a 58 mm clamping flange with 6 mm solid shaft, without adding multi-turn functionality or fieldbus communication. Primary integration reason: direct controller-side reading of single-turn absolute position with minimal signal complexity.
Primary limitation: output is limited to single-turn data; no multi-turn retention or network communication capability.

Wiring & Installation

  • Connection: 1 m axial PVC cable
  • Minimum bend radius: ~150 mm

Primary commissioning risk: incorrect bit mapping at controller input (Latch / DIR / bit order).
Primary mechanical constraint: small shaft alignment sensitivity. On 6 mm shafts, coupling precision directly affects stability and bearing life.
