RSA 698 580480-01: This is a quite old model; the information I have indicates that it was introduced in 2009.
This encoder model is one that a new customer needs as a replacement, but unfortunately, he can no longer procure it. Ultimately, he decided to entrust us with the development of a substitute solution.
The encoder does not appear to be complicated. From the documentation, we understand it to be a standard 58mm encoder product with a shaft diameter of 10mm. Power supply 5V. Total Resolution 25 Bit. Data output RS485.

We have existing solutions for these parameters. It's essentially a standard product, a 25-bit RS485 absolute encoder.
This customer required 7 encoders for replacement, plus one spare, making a total of 8 units. The customer seemed very urgent, hoping we could deliver within 7 days. In reality, for such standard products, it doesn't take that long. We completed the delivery in three days, using the fastest courier service.
The customer was very grateful upon receiving the goods, almost incredulous at how quickly the delivery was made.
58mm encoders are generally considered standard products. Many encoder brands have developed products of this specification, so replacing them is relatively much simpler.
