We have developed a custom solution for model PSM58N-F3AAGR0BN-1213, designed around a PROFIBUS multiturn absolute encoder platform with a recessed hollow shaft structure and standard 58 mm industrial housing. This configuration is intended for direct shaft mounting applications requiring stable fieldbus communication and clear mechanical alignment with a 15 mm shaft interface. Wiring and Installation Notes

This model uses a terminal-compartment connection structure. Bus IN and Bus OUT must be wired with correct A/B polarity, and differential pairs should not be crossed. The node address must be set uniquely using rotary switches before commissioning. If installed at the end of the PROFIBUS line, the internal termination resistor should be enabled; otherwise, it must remain disabled. Shielded cables are recommended, with grounding applied at the control cabinet side to reduce interference. Mechanically, the encoder is mounted directly on the shaft without coupling, and a torque restraint must be applied to prevent housing rotation. Avoid axial force and misalignment during installation.
