We created a custom solution for the M6-5S3XH51-T003 encoder, intended for applications where direct hollow shaft mounting must remain stable under load with a dedicated torque arm configuration. This configuration uses a 1 1/8 inch bore, end-of-shaft mounting, line driver option 3, and a high-range output based on the 51 rotor family, with conduit-box terminal structure and 003 torque arm modification. It is not tolerance-forgiving. Signal stability depends directly on shaft condition, engagement length, clamping symmetry, and torque arm behavior. Typical production lead time: 15 working days under confirmed configuration.

Stable output depends on shaft engagement, collar symmetry, anti-rotation arm alignment, and torque arm installation quality.
System Limits
- Runout > 0.002 inch TIR → output becomes unstable at higher speed
- Wobble > 0.007 inch TIR → vibration and timing variation become unavoidable
- Insufficient engagement → tilt and phase inconsistency occur
The hollow shaft design removes coupling errors but transfers alignment responsibility to the shaft.
With the torque arm configuration, mounting stability is determined by both shaft condition and anti-rotation control.
Installation and Wiring Constraints
- Use flexible anti-rotation arm only; no rigid mounting
- Do not force installation; slide fit required
- Tighten clamping collar evenly; position split correctly
- Maximize shaft engagement to reduce wobble
- If wobble is detected, correction is required using: runout check → rotate shaft 180° → bias housing if needed
