This model is an older version of a draw wire displacement sensor. Neither the official website nor online searches provide any relevant technical information. The customer has been trying to locate this model for some time, and it is highly likely that this product is no longer available through standard channels.

After technical communication with the end user, we were able to clarify the key parameters of the original unit. Based on these specifications, a custom-engineered solution can be developed to resolve the on-site application requirements. For this type of draw wire sensor, the most critical parameters are the measuring range and the mechanical interface dimensions. Once these two factors are clearly defined, a compatible replacement can be engineered with high feasibility.

This displacement sensor was primarily used for position measurement in metallurgical industry applications. In practical operation, it must be combined with an encoder for signal feedback. Unfortunately, the current inquiry did not include detailed encoder specifications—only a model reference was provided, and no technical data can be found for that model either.

In such cases, delivering a complete system solution requires detailed encoder parameters. If the technical specifications are unknown, providing the original datasheet or a physical sample is strongly recommended. Only with this information can a fully compatible solution be confirmed.

For many legacy encoder models, replacement solutions are technically achievable. However, in most cases, the challenge lies in the absence of accurate parameter data from procurement sources.
