A custom replacement encoder is available for CEV58M-00026, designed to match the original mechanical interface and electrical behavior for direct retrofit installation. This solution is intended for maintenance and system replacement scenarios where reliable absolute position feedback over a fieldbus is required. By offering a stable and predictable lead time, the replacement supports fast recovery of automation equipment without changes to the existing control configuration.

The encoder communicates via PROFIBUS DP and provides a programmable code structure for absolute position transmission. It delivers 4,096 steps per revolution with 4,096 revolutions, ensuring accurate multi-turn position feedback for industrial motion and positioning tasks. Operation is supported within a 11–27 V DC supply range, and data transmission is realized using an RS485 signal level. Communication parameters are compatible with standard PROFIBUS network environments.

The mechanical configuration includes a 10 mm flatted shaft (10FL/19.5), enabling direct shaft installation without additional coupling components. The housing provides IP65 protection and supports operation in ambient temperatures from –20 °C to +70 °C. Electrical connection is implemented via radial cable glands (2× M16 and 1× M12), supporting robust industrial wiring and strain relief.
