We provide a proven SSI encoder 1:1 replacement solution for the GM400.020A002 and GM400.A20A002 models, designed for direct substitution in existing absolute multiturn applications. The replacement encoder matches the original interface concept and operating logic, allowing integration without changes to the controller program or communication timing.

This solution adopts a Synchronous Serial Interface (SSI) and delivers a total resolution of 25 bits, combining high-accuracy singleturn position feedback with reliable multiturn counting. Both Gray and binary code formats are supported, ensuring compatibility with different control system preferences. High code switching performance enables stable data transmission even in applications with fast shaft dynamics or frequent position sampling.

From a mechanical standpoint, the encoder is available with common industrial flange configurations, enabling straightforward installation on existing shafts. The internal design incorporates continuous self-diagnostic monitoring, including checks on code stability, signal frequency limits, internal electronics status, and supply voltage conditions. These functions help improve operational reliability and support preventive maintenance.

This 1:1 replacement is suitable for automation equipment, servo-driven machinery, and positioning systems where accurate absolute position feedback, long-term stability, and predictable behavior are critical to system performance.
