The HS35AY1SWU0AA000 is an incremental encoder with a 16 mm hollow bore, used for motor speed measurement and position feedback. For this model, we can manufacture a custom replacement matched to the original mechanical mounting, output signals, and cable arrangement for equipment maintenance and spare-part replacement.
This configuration provides 1024 PPR with a 7272 line driver, delivering A and B channels and their complementary signals, together with a Z index pulse and its complementary signal. The custom encoder matches the original pulse count, output levels, and standard phasing, allowing the equipment to continue reading feedback in the existing configuration.

This model uses a direct cable connection, corresponding to connection option W, with an original cable length of 18 inches, approximately 457 mm. The custom design matches the cable length, wire colors, and signal assignments. For differential wiring, A and its complement, B and its complement, and Z and its complement should each form a separate twisted pair. Pairing signals from different channels can reduce noise immunity.
The mechanical configuration uses a hollow-shaft clamping arrangement and an anti-rotation tether for fan-cover mounting with a 1/4-20 threaded fastener, without a protective basket. The custom encoder matches the original 16 mm bore, clamping position, and tether attachment. During installation, the tether should sit naturally without forced bending or preload, allowing the encoder to accommodate normal shaft-end movement.
The original model operates at 5–28 VDC, while the custom replacement uses 10–30 VDC. All other configuration details are matched to the original model. The replacement can use the existing installation position and wiring assignments. If the equipment uses a 5 VDC supply, the power supply must be adjusted first.
