We developed a custom solution for model OCD-PPA1B-00AA-C100-CRW. This version is a single-turn absolute encoder with parallel push-pull output, 58 mm clamping flange, and 10 mm solid shaft. The source page shows 9-bit resolution, 10–30 VDC supply, 1 m radial cable, and enclosure protection rated IP65 on shaft side / IP66-IP67 on housing side. Technical Key Parameters

This model is for systems that still require direct discrete bit output instead of fieldbus communication. The output driver is push-pull, and the listed signal allocation includes Bit 1 to Bit 9, plus Latch, DIR, Power Supply, and GND. For retrofit work, that is the core decision anchor: the project must confirm controller input type and bit-width first, because once the machine side is parallel-input based, replacing it with a bus encoder is usually not the quickest path.

Mechanically, this version uses a 10 mm solid shaft with single flat, 20 mm shaft length, clamping flange, and maximum mechanical speed up to 12000 rpm. Wiring and Installation Notes

This version uses a 1 m radial PVC cable. The signal map assigns individual colors for Bit 1 through Bit 9, plus Latch, DIR, Power Supply, and GND. In installation, the important point is not only correct bit order but also consistent common reference and input timing on the receiving controller. On the mechanical side, keep coupling alignment under control and do not overload the 10 mm shaft, especially on high-speed applications where misalignment quickly shortens service life.
