The referenced configuration is an optical EtherCAT version with 16-bit single-turn resolution, binary code, 10–30 VDC supply, and three radial M12 connectors.

Bus Configuration & Communication

The interface is EtherCAT with 100 Mbit transmission, cycle time from 1 ms, and programmable functions including resolution, time base and filter for velocity, preset, counting direction, parameter control priority, and IP address. The page also lists boot-loader, round axis, DLR, velocity, acceleration, and temperature values under communication features, plus error and warning bits for diagnostics.

Primary integration value: network-based absolute position feedback without multi-line parallel mapping.
Primary risk: network recognition, topology setup, or port configuration errors rather than sensor-side instability.

Wiring & Bus Topology

The electrical layout uses three radial M12 connectors: Interface 1 is M12 female 4-pin D-coded, Interface 2 is M12 male 4-pin A-coded, and Interface 3 is M12 female 4-pin D-coded. The connection plan assigns Tx+/Rx+/Tx-/Rx- on the Ethernet ports and Power Supply/GND on the power connector. Startup time is listed below 15 seconds.
