This structure is selected when the control side already depends on Profibus telegram exchange rather than parallel bit mapping or analog scaling.

Primary mechanical constraint: blind hollow installation quality.
Best practice: control shaft tolerance, insertion depth, and alignment stability together, not bore size alone.
At this speed level, mounting quality has more impact on long-term stability than the nominal shaft diameter itself.
