Wiring and Installation Notes

This model uses HTL incremental output with a terminal board connection, so commissioning should begin with confirmation of pulse signal definition, supply polarity, and terminal correspondence. Because the encoder uses a relatively large housing and a 15 mm solid shaft, mechanical installation quality is critical for long-term signal stability. Shaft alignment should be checked carefully during mounting to avoid eccentric operation and unnecessary radial loading on the bearing system. The mounting surface should also be rigid enough to support the encoder body under vibration and shock conditions. In practical installations, terminal board versions are convenient for field-side wiring adjustment, but terminal identification should be verified before startup to avoid cross-connection of power and pulse lines. Where the machine operates with repeated load variation, shaft load and fastening stability should be reviewed as mechanical movement can create signal problems that look electrical at first.
