We provide a custom solution for the M6-4S1HX51-W003 encoder, intended for applications where direct hollow shaft mounting replaces couplings and stable incremental feedback must be maintained across a wide 5 to 24 VDC supply range. This configuration uses a 1 inch bore, end-of-shaft mounting, line driver option 1, and a high-range output based on the 51 rotor family, with wire-gland conduit-box structure and torque arm configuration. It is not tolerance-forgiving. Signal stability depends directly on shaft condition, engagement length, and clamping symmetry. Typical production lead time: 15 working days under confirmed configuration.

Stable output depends on shaft engagement, collar symmetry, anti-rotation arm alignment, and wiring discipline.

System Limits

  • Runout > 0.002 inch TIR → output becomes unstable at higher speed
  • Wobble > 0.007 inch TIR → vibration and timing variation become unavoidable
  • Insufficient engagement → tilt and phase inconsistency occur

The hollow shaft design removes coupling errors but transfers alignment responsibility to the shaft.
With a wide input voltage range, electrical tolerance increases, but mechanical stability remains the primary limit.

Installation and Wiring Constraints

  • Use flexible anti-rotation arm only; no rigid mounting
  • Do not force installation; slide fit required
  • Tighten clamping collar evenly; position split correctly
  • Maximize shaft engagement to reduce wobble
  • Correct wobble by: runout check → rotate shaft 180° → bias housing if needed

Wiring:

  • Supply: 5 to 24 VDC
  • Individually shielded pairs required
  • Cable length within driver capability (typically up to ~1000 ft depending on voltage)
  • Ground conductor ≥14 AWG
  • Phase error → direction reversal

Replacement and Interface Mapping

  • Suitable for hollow shaft systems requiring wide voltage (5 to 24 VDC) incremental feedback
  • Applicable where 1 inch bore fit and stable mounting are controlled
  • Not suitable where shaft tolerance or installation discipline cannot be ensured
  • Output configuration can be adapted within the platform
