Wiring and Installation Notes

This model uses an RS485 master/slave bus structure with separated T,R+ / T,R- input and output lines, which is useful for multi-node wiring and helps reduce stub-line problems. For cable extensions longer than 10 m, the signal lines should be arranged as twisted pairs. If the encoder is installed as the last user on the bus, an external 150 Ω terminating resistor should be added at the final node. The platform also supports UP/DOWN direction selection and zero setting by high-level impulse over 100 ms. In actual installation, the radial connector layout is often easier to manage when rear axial depth is limited, but shaft alignment and flange centering still need to be checked carefully.
