A 1:1 replacement encoder is available for CEV582M-10338, designed to match the original mechanical interface and functional behavior for direct retrofit installation. This solution is intended for maintenance and replacement projects where absolute position feedback over an industrial fieldbus must be restored without modifying the existing mounting arrangement or control logic. A predictable lead time supports efficient servicing and minimizes machine downtime in continuous-operation environments.

The encoder communicates via PROFIBUS DP and uses binary coding for absolute position transmission. It provides 8,192 steps per revolution combined with 4,096 revolutions, ensuring reliable multi-turn position feedback for motion control and positioning applications. Operation is supported within a 10–30 V DC supply range. Parameterization is handled via the interface, allowing integration into standard PROFIBUS network structures used in industrial automation systems.

Mechanically, the encoder features a solid shaft with D-cut (D08, L19.5) and a ZB36 flange, enabling direct installation without adapter components. The housing provides IP65 protection and supports operation in ambient temperatures from –20 °C to +75 °C. Electrical connection is realized through radial cable glands (1× M12 and 2× M16), supporting robust industrial wiring and strain relief.

This replacement solution focuses on functional equivalence for the PROFIBUS interface while preserving mounting dimensions, resolution, and electrical compatibility.
