The replacement unit is engineered as a multi-turn absolute encoder with SSI Gray-code output, maintaining full compatibility with existing PLC and drive configurations. Absolute position information is resolved at 4096 counts per revolution combined with 4096 multi-turn revolutions, ensuring consistent position tracking even after power interruptions.
