From a technical perspective, GEMMH.R203P32 is a multiturn optical absolute encoder offering singleturn 13-bit resolution and multiturn 16-bit resolution through the Profibus-DP interface. It supports programmable rotation direction (CW/CCW) and parameterization options for steps per turn, number of revolutions, preset, and scaling. Integrated diagnostics continuously monitor position and multiturn operation, with a DUO-LED status indicator for real-time feedback. The encoder powers from 10–30 VDC, includes reverse polarity protection, and initializes in approximately 250 ms.
