Introduction

We have developed a custom solution for model PSS58N-F3AAGR0BN-0013, configured for PROFIBUS singleturn measurement tasks with a recessed hollow shaft design and standard 58 mm industrial form factor. This version is intended for applications that require a 15 mm shaft connection and consistent absolute angular feedback. Typical production lead time: 15 working days.

Wiring and Installation Notes

The AG structure uses internal terminals inside the removable housing cover. Bus wiring must follow the correct A/B differential sequence, and the node address must be unique within the network. The 220 Ω internal termination resistor should only be switched on for the final device in the bus segment. Shielded cable routing is recommended to improve communication stability in electrically noisy environments. Mechanically, the encoder is installed directly on the shaft without a coupling, so shaft fit, insertion depth, and anti-rotation restraint must all be controlled carefully.
