BTF13-A1AM0520 is a discontinued draw-wire absolute encoder with a 5 m measuring range. The discontinuation is mainly related to the encoder section, so for the customized version, we reproduce the original encoder interface, signal configuration, and wiring arrangement so that the new product can continue to be used on the existing equipment.
The model uses an SSI interface with a radial M23 12-pin male connector. The draw-wire mechanism has a measuring range of 0–5 m, an actual wire length of approximately 5.2 m, and about 334.1 mm of linear travel per revolution. The original product operates from 10–32 VDC.
The main focus of the customization is the encoder section. The customized product is manufactured according to the original signal parameters, while keeping the same connector and final wiring definition. This allows the existing plug and wiring to be retained, making direct plug-in replacement possible without changing the wire sequence.
The customized product operates from 10–30 VDC, which is slightly different from the original 10–32 VDC range. The actual machine supply should therefore be confirmed before installation.
There is also a visible difference in appearance. The original BTF13-A1AM0520 uses a blue housing, while the customized version uses a black housing. The key objective of the customization is to maintain the 5 m measuring range together with the original encoder interface and wiring arrangement so that the unit can continue to support the existing equipment.
