System Limits

The first system boundary is the HC-HTL incremental signal path. The controller depends on correct S00/S00⁻, S90/S90⁻, and Sref/Sref⁻ signal interpretation, stable output-current capability, correct phase relationship, and reliable reference pulse processing. A replacement can appear electrically connected while still failing if the complementary channels, reference pulse behavior, or output level do not match the original control system.

The second boundary is the removal of ADS-related functions while preserving the main feedback interface. The original configuration includes additional diagnostic-related connections, including alarm and communication lines. For a no-ADS replacement, these functions should not be required by the machine control system. The primary incremental output channels, supply reference, shielding, and mechanical installation must remain correctly matched.

The Ø16 mm blind hollow shaft and 86-flange structure create an additional mechanical boundary. Shaft alignment, torque bracket orientation, coupling condition, and radial load must remain controlled to prevent vibration, bearing stress, or unstable feedback.

Wiring & Installation
