We developed a custom solution for the OCD-PPA1G-0409-B110-PRT model, centered on compact parallel output integration rather than fieldbus communication. This version combines a blind hollow bore structure with a 58 mm housing format, an 11 mm bore, and push-pull parallel output through a 26-pin M23 connector. Its 9-bit singleturn and 4-bit multiturn arrangement makes it suitable for control systems that require direct bit-level position transmission and straightforward electrical interfacing. Typical production lead time: 15 working days. The original configuration uses optical sensing, gray code output, 10–30 VDC input, and IP65 protection.

Wiring and Installation Notes

This model should be treated as a parallel electrical integration task first and a mechanical replacement task second. Because the encoder outputs multiple bits directly through the M23 connector, wiring discipline is critical: each output bit, direction setting, and supply line should be assigned clearly in the cabinet layout before installation. The blind hollow bore structure also means shaft engagement depth must remain controlled to avoid unstable coupling or unnecessary misalignment. Compared with bus-based encoders, this configuration places more emphasis on I/O allocation, connector pin consistency, and signal organization inside the control system. It is especially useful where direct binary or gray-code style position acquisition is still preferred in existing equipment architecture.
