This configuration is selected when the controller already depends on Profibus telegram exchange and the project requires direct multi-turn retention without battery maintenance.

Primary mechanical constraint: blind hollow installation quality.
Best practice: control shaft tolerance, insertion depth, and alignment stability together, not bore size alone.
On a 6 mm hollow shaft, the installation margin is smaller than on larger bores, so mounting precision has a stronger effect on running stability and service life.
