GM400.Z103 and GM400.Z61:Introduction to Alternative Product Customization

GM400.Z103 and GM400.Z61 are both models of absolute encoders that operate on the SSI communication protocol plus incremental signals. They are considered quite standard encoders.

At the beginning of the month, a customer from the wind power industry inquired about custom alternative solutions. In the wind power sector, these two models are used as pitch encoders. Since we often produce similar products, we had a ready development foundation, and we were able to complete the delivery quickly.

The parameters for GM400.Z103 and GM400.Z61 encoders are essentially the same: 8192*4096, Gray SSI. The difference lies in the voltage; GM400.Z103 operates at 24V, while GM400.Z61 operates at 10-30V. In practical applications, both 24V and 10-30V power supplies can be used.

In fact, we frequently manufacture these two models, although they are not labeled with their respective models. Our standard SSI communication protocol products include items with corresponding parameters.

With the increasing demand in the wind power market in recent years, we have seen more customers coming to us for alternative solutions, leading us to focus on these specific product models.

Now, we also have foreign customers seeking alternative solutions. I suspect there may be procurement difficulties, otherwise, there wouldn't be such a sudden surge in demand for alternative models.

We no longer verify the status of the original products; instead, we directly provide alternative solutions. As long as we can be of assistance, that is sufficient. These alternative solution products are primarily used for spare part replacements, and the overall procurement volume is not large. The highest purchase quantity from a single customer was 20 units.
