We provide a reliable 1:1 replacement solution for the GM400.010A002 and GM400.A10A002 SSI absolute multiturn encoder models. This replacement is engineered to match the original encoder in both electrical interface and functional behavior, allowing seamless integration into existing motion control systems without modification to the control logic or wiring concept.

The replacement encoder uses an SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) with a total resolution of 25 bits, combining 13-bit singleturn resolution (8192 steps per revolution) with multiturn position feedback. Gray or binary code formats are supported to ensure full compatibility with different controller requirements. High code switching speeds up to 800 kHz enable stable data transmission even in dynamic applications where fast position updates are required.

From a mechanical perspective, the encoder design supports common clamping and synchro flange configurations, ensuring dimensional compatibility for shaft-mounted installations. Integrated self-diagnostic functions continuously monitor code stability, signal frequency limits, internal components, and supply voltage conditions, improving system reliability and reducing unexpected downtime.

This replacement solution is suitable for industrial automation, servo drive systems, and heavy-duty machinery where precise absolute position feedback and long-term operational stability are essential.
