The replacement encoder is designed as a multi-turn absolute encoder with an SSI interface using Gray code, allowing it to operate seamlessly with controllers already programmed for this communication standard. Absolute position data is delivered with 4096 counts per revolution and 4096 multi-turn revolutions, supporting precise motion tracking over extended travel ranges and across power cycles. The encoder operates on a DC 10–32 V supply and supports SSI clock frequencies up to 300 kHz, providing reliable data transmission in industrial motion systems.
