System Limits

The 809670-01 ISA 608 uses PROFIBUS DP with encoder profiles 3.062 and 3.162 v4.1, DIP switch configurable node addressing, and supported functions including preset, scaling, and code sequence. Differences in profile selection, node address, or scaling configuration may cause the controller to read incorrect position values even when network communication appears normal.

The mechanical integration boundary is defined by the flange structure, shaft interface, and installation stability. This model uses a Ø10 mm round shaft with a synchro flange (63-type) mounting configuration and radial cable gland connection. Shaft alignment, flange compatibility, cable routing, shielding, and grounding continuity should be maintained because mechanical mismatch or electrical interference can affect long-term feedback reliability.

Wiring & Installation

The PROFIBUS interface requires verification of bus wiring, power supply connection, and signal continuity.
