The 770591-04 RHA 506 uses a 4–20 mA analog output with 10-bit singleturn resolution and a 120° active angle. The controller interprets position through the current range, so output scaling, active angle configuration, signal direction, and preset behavior must be matched to prevent incorrect position calculation or additional commissioning adjustments.

The mechanical integration boundary includes hollow shaft fit, flange compatibility, and installation stability. This model uses a Ø12 mm blind hollow shaft with a 56/57 flange structure. Shaft engagement, flange mounting, coupling alignment, cable routing, shielding, and grounding continuity should be maintained because mechanical mismatch or electrical interference can affect long-term position measurement accuracy.

Wiring & Installation

The analog interface requires verification of power supply, current output, preset, code sequence, and shield connections. The configuration uses dedicated wiring for supply voltage, 0 Volt, I out signal, preset function, code sequence, and chassis shield.
