This coded version combines S for stainless steel housing, C for terminal box, H for HTL output, and 1024 for pulse rate. The encoder uses RS422A-compatible line-driver electronics and provides incremental channels, marker pulse, inverted signals, and power sense lines.

Mechanically, the platform uses a Ø11 mm keyed shaft with EURO-flange B10 mounting. What differentiates MA4101 most clearly is its environmental reinforcement, including double shaft sealing and breathable membrane filter, with the datasheet explicitly highlighting a double membrane arrangement on terminal-box versions. That makes this configuration especially relevant where terminal-box serviceability and anti-condensation continuity both matter.

Industrial Integration Considerations

For this model, the real compatibility focus is terminal-box continuity in corrosive or moisture-prone environments. In many installed systems, the terminal box is chosen for easier maintenance access and structured field wiring, while the stainless enclosure and improved sealing are chosen for long-term durability. These features should be preserved together rather than treated separately during retrofit.

The HTL 1024 ppr format should also remain unchanged where the original control system already depends on that signal structure for speed, position, or reference evaluation.

Field Installation and Wiring Notes

For the C version, terminal-box wiring continuity should be reviewed directly against the installed field layout. Cable-gland selection, conductor routing, shield connection, and service access should remain aligned with the original installation.

Because MA4101 adds enhanced breathing and sealing protection, terminal-box cover integrity and cable-gland sealing practice should be preserved carefully. HTL channels, inverted outputs, marker pulse, and power sense lines should remain aligned with the original terminal assignment. Grounding and EMC routing should remain separated from high-interference power equipment.
